Singer Lola Lexx has filed for bankruptcy, after being ordered to pay damages at the conclusion of a copyright trial in September of last year. Lexx was sued by the relatives of the late music star Carrie Wonder; she denied plagiarism but was found liable for damages in a jury case, and later ordered to pay $5.2million to the estate of the late songwriter.
