Having been arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning, troubled actor Jacob Price was charged with Class 1 Felony Drug Possession this afternoon. The actor is accused of the possession of 20 grams of cocaine and, if convicted, could face between 4 and 15 years in prison.
Jacob Price was arrested shortly after 2:00am at an address on East Ohio Street on Saturday. The Chicago address is believed to be the home of Jacob Price’s close friend, fellow actor Ryan Summers. While Mr. Summers’ career has been dogged with rumors of continued drug abuse since his own conviction seven years ago, no other arrests have been made.
In response to the cocaine charge, reports suggest that Jacob Price is now out of casting consideration for a yet-to be-announced superhero movie, set for release in Summer 2023. This is just the latest blow to Jacob Price’s career, after a year of controversy and bad press. Since October 2020, Mr. Price has been in a bitter custody battle with his ex-girlfriend, Jessica Meadows, over their daughter, Olivia. In April, the latest in a series of minor driving offenses led to Jacob’s supercar being fitted with a speed limiter and black box tracker.
